Just run in to the courtroom and shout 'He's guilty, He's guilty!!'
You'll get off doing it easily enough;) |

until joo marry me :p
my brother had to do grand jury duty for 6 months and they have gotten wise to ppl trying to get out of jury duty. they werent interested in hearing why you cant do it. they just want warm bodies to fill thoses seats, so if you dont know the defendent and dont have a medical condition then ur serving. might be a little different in higher profile cases. |

| Yeah saying racist ain't that bad. Like don't say that just imply it. My dad did it twice for the last 8 years and he's still yet to actually serve out his jury duty lol. |

im just surprised as im pretty young, and i imagine jurors to be like 30+ in age. |
They probably do not know how old you are except that you are old enough.
Now, here in Germany you have one threshold for almost all things duties but also rights (driving, alcohol, clubs, elections), its all at an age of 18. With 17 you can't do anything alone, with 18 everything without limits. You can even become the german chancellor at an age of 18. The only limit here is that you cannot become the German President at an age below 25. But that is the only exception.
So being a juror at an age of close-to-18 isn't that dramatic. |

Dumbest statement I have ever heard. You realize that the second you leave the US your really have no legal rights or protections? If goes bad for you outside of the US they have no obligation to assist you. Granted, I doubt that this would happen as the US is pretty solid in supporting it's residents when abroad but they really don't have to in your case. You're persona non gratta, not a desirable position to be in. My advise to you.... never leave the US unless you get your citizenship first. |

I don't want US citizenship, I don't see myself living here forever. Now I know about all this stuff you said because I am a Cuban native & I know if you're not a citizen they could keep you there if they wished.
I am eligible to obtain my citizenship but it's really based on personal choice...I travel with my Cuban passport & I've found it a lot easier than some people have said with a US. That's just me though. |

Sorry, I did not realize you had a Cuban passport. So long as you have citizenship somewhere I wouldn't be too worried. |
