im the youngest person employed by the company, and there are a few hundred employees. but in my branch, there are about 70, and i still am the youngest, mostly by 20 years, and im just different from everybody else. i get a long fine, but at the parties, i just stick to myself, get myself full from the food, hang out for a bit and leave. im usually the first, i just make an appearance just to say i was there. and eat. |

| so far we had 5 company parties this month and 1 potluck during lunch. I went to zero parties, but forcefully went to the potluck. something about old people and karaoke that my mind tells me to stay away. |

went to my second work party. they're okay and you get to speak to some people you normally wouldnt but you always have to keep your wits about you, you dont wanna get plastered and be the talk of the office.
im 20 and the other guy i work with is 23 [we work for a diff company than where we work] so im probably the youngest on the floor :( |

| my work parties are AWESOME! earlier this year we had steak and lobster and they got three bands and shut down production all afternoon so we could celebrate 2004. then this month we had a killer holiday party at an antique car museum. everyone looked awesome. and we had our potluck about 3 hours ago. me and the other supervisors all chipped in and we got a whole pig for the potluck. i didn't really like the way it tasted but there was so much other food. people at my work are really nice and there are a lot of young people. |

When I first started working for my company, we use to have a party every Friday on the sales floor. Every Friday around 4pm, they would bring out the kegorator and tap a pony keg. Right in the middle of the floor. :eyes: Can you say law suit?
But when our new V.P of Human Resources came aboard, that was quickly squashed. Now all we get is picnics in the park with giant blow up jumpers. :( |
