How many of you all wear earplugs when you go to a club / rave? I'm just wondering if it's "socially acceptable" so to speak...is it frowned upon at all?

Who cares if it's socailly acceptable? It's your freaking hearing.

I plan on getting a pair of these babies as soon as I put some money on my Visa:

I was thinking of buying ones. I have never seen anyone wearing ones though....so i'd be like a pioneer!!!!

i used to in Toronto.
for some reason, though, clubs here don't have powerful enough sound. and so they're not really necessary.

me being over sensitive and highly protective of my hearing I wear them pretty much every single time I go clubbing.

Over the years the few rare reactions I have gotten were from some of my friends who were drunk as heck. Usually people I don't know never say anything or they're like oh wow I should wear some too.

Who cares what others think. I've you're really that concerned about your fashionable image get some that have see through tips so barely visible ( that's what I have ).

Only guido's care about being fashionable in clubs. Wearing their abercrombie , and their gay gotti haircuts. I hate them all

and yes these are good. The comfort thing is something you have to get used to it's a little strange at first cause you will hear things a little differently. Also avoid taking them in and out several times in an evening as it might irritate your ear and also cause them to not seal sound properly ( not sure why that happens but it does ).
