MAYBE...thats a top 30 list of RADIO play...u know tracks that our played on the radio....i could be wrong but thats what it looks like to me.....the majority of those tracks are not TRANCE and are OVER played....so thats what i am thinking...

Well I shouldn't worry too much about what Dave Pearce says is cool or not, he gets told exactly what to say and what to play by his program manager and/or his record label.
That is to say, I presume Dave Pearce has contractual obligations with his own record labels and with Radio One - and when you get to that level of being a famous DJ and start writing lists of what's cool and what's not, it's all to do with who pays you the most money to say it, and sod all to do with what actually moves your ears.
I'd rather pay more attention to the opinion of the n00biest of n00b TA's, at least it's unlikely to be tainted by money!! |

Thats not far from the truth as it goes Kia, but in this case with Dave "roll another fat one" Pearce i think this is a list of stuff he has played on Radio 1 only.
Each radio 1 DJ was asked to compile a top 30 as such from the Radio 1 Playlist.
Admittedly Pearce could have got a better selection than that from what has been played on radio 1.
God knows what Da Hool is doing in that list too.
a classic maybe but not one of my favorites.
I tend to take no notice of PUBLISHED top 10 / 20 / 30 etc lists cos they do tend to include a lot of the commercial stuff.
As Kia said, i too would rather pay attention to the TA's or the fans of trance cos after all they are the one's that buy / DL / Listen to the music. . .

| I think his problem is hes having to stick to radio 1 guidelines or something, only including charted music or something. So therefore i suggest some1 tarts the LDJPDMFAC movement (catchy) it stands for let DJ's play decent music for a change, and even if it deosen't sound good i think you'll agree that although radio kicks arse all it's specialist dance shows are far to comercial nowadays |

Well all I can say is, he is the king of cheese, he is that special topping on the Vinyl that is Pizza!!!!!
I have only ever seen the guy play once, at the outdoor stage at creamfields, I could only hack the guy for 10 mins...the fat fart knocker!!!
C'mon who can ever take this guy seriously....all current Radio one Dj's have made it bigtime djing, then been introduced to the radio One airwaves!! Does anybody actually know where this joker came from before he murdered the transmissions???
