Top 30 of all time?! I don't think so! It's not strictly a top 30 trance tunes of all time, but even so, the trance tunes that are on there are by no means the best of all time. The man should be crucified for some of the tunes he's ommited, such as Afterburn- North Pole, Cygnus X- Superstring, Fragma- Toca Me (In Petto mix) and Agnelli & Nelson- Everyday (original mix). That said though, there are some mint tunes on there that I might consider for my top 30 of all time, like Gouryella- Gouryella, Sasha- Xpander and Energy 52- Cafe Del Mar.
I was particularly offended to see the following tunes on his supposed top 30 tunes of all time list...
Barthezz - On The Move
PPK - ResuRection
Ian Van Dahl - Castles in the Sky
Roger Sanchez - Another Chance
Jakatta - American Dream
and worst of all, the crap disco house tunes...
Armand Van Helden - U Don't Even Know Me
Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You
The last 2 are making me nauseous even thinking about them. Oh well, I suppose you've gotta laugh, otherwise you'd cry! Nice one Mr. Pearce! |

Well Dve Pearce is just some guy, who does a mixed show between 6 and 8 on radio 1 durring the weekdays, and A dance show between 7 and 9pm on sundays. That is better than the weekday shows, much better.
Oh and he also djs all round the country, and also in eden in ibiza during the club season. So he cant b all bad. Oh i give up sticking up for Radio1 djs.

Man this pisses me off that every1 takes this as dave's opinion as they do his weekday and weekend shows :whip: This stuff is what he's told to play. And if u take the cheese out the top 30 theres some awesome stuff in there anyway :

Anyway if u listen to Dance Anthems on a sunday you'll know that the he plays for 1.5 hours of the 2 hour show is chosen by the public and that he plays a short mix 20mins? of the tunes he's playing at the moment. This is a reflection of what he likes and theres usually one or two in there that are good. Im not completly defending the gap tooth idiot but atleast dont abuse he for being that cheesy. I'll tell u something that made me laff though, last week he played Rising Star - Clear Blue Moon and after said the Armin had givin it him on nye and that it was brand new!!! LMAO i had this track back in September and im sure many peeps on these boards and elsewhere had this track even months b4 that. Anyway enuff babbling from me

i know i'll probably get flamed for saying this, but any... would you stop dissing resurrection? that tune is way out of your league, it's not for european trance scene and i have no clue why ppk decided to come out with it (popularity, right?).
that melody was not written by ppk, as you probably know. i agree, the song does sound cheesy, but the melody that was taken from an old russian movie should not be dissed, because it is deep. i repeat again, it was not written as a trance melody and it was not supposed to have public approval on the trance scene; i don't know why it did in the first place |
