Apparently some motherf****s hacked Shell and Petro gas stations systems and now have access to customers credit cards information!
On sunday night someone used my CC twice! Now my bank wants me to pay almost $400 for the purchases I've never made!

dont pay this!!!Hassle the credit card company and the gas station.The credit card should not charge you more than a 50$ deductible and since you didnt lose you card and the info was stolen from a retailer you have
some options not to pay at all.I'll try and find you the link or phone number for the consumer protection agency.I had a problem like this once and they cleared it all up.Unless you cause a fuss they will always try and make you pay.( cc company= leeches) |

my bro's card was used in China - maxed out 5gs.
he didn't have to pay a penny, but it took a while to get it sorted out. |

don't use credit cards at all? or only at the pumps? I always use my credit card at a gas station, and lately have been using it just at the pumps... to lazy to go inside to pay it.
also, what station did this happen at? is it an isolated case or widespread? |

| Most CC companies are pretty good with dealing with fraudulent charges. You most probably wont be liable for the charges. Make sure you tell them te whole scenario. Cancel your current CC and have them send you replacement one with a different number, and as always, if the CC agent gives you a hard time, speak with their supervisor or manager. |

At all! I've never used cc @ the pump!
It is widespread! Happened @ two gas stations on Hurontario in Mississauga. |
