I've never used beatport to purchase music before. I was just wondering if someone can tell me what file format I should choose? MP3 or WAV? How is the sound quality?
thx! |

+1 to that, unless you REALLY need 100% cd quality sound...which you can train your ear to hear with the right equipment, but the 320k mp3s will do nicely :) |

The WAV formats are basically the original production that the artist made, so they'll be really clear and all that jazz. But honestly the human ear can't even tell the difference between 128 and 320 so just go with the 320 kb/s.
Plus the 320 kb/s is a bit more compressed than the WAV so it will save a little bit of HD space. |

| I can't tell the difference beyond 192 kbps. Then again, I'm no audiophile... |

| Downloading the 320kbs mp3 eventually will be turned into a WAV file anyways..if you plan on playing it on CD players...the WAV files are just much larger then the mp3 version. |

There's a HUGE difference between 192 and 320. At least I can tell.
Orbital, if you buy WAV files, you can download them instantly. You don't have to wait to get it mailed. ;) But they do cost $1 more. |
