How'd you get in then? I went but was wearing dress pants and a "dress" shirt. I may go depending. |

does your shirt have to have to obligatory fred perry label in the corner, or the ubiquitous burberry check? you could follow these "rules" and that wouldn't necessarily make you look "hip and hot". style isn't a dress code, ffs. i see loads of people dressed like that all over the city, and they look neither hip nor hot! ;) perhaps they should actually take a look at london street style...
whatever, i have a feeling it will be like back when boa first said "21 and over" and they never actually really enforced that, did they? |
When I have been there they are always very strict with the dress code but that was a couple years ago - Dress shirt, pants, shoes. Even then the bouncers would "pick" from the people who got in.
I don't have a problem dressing up, although I prefer just going in jeans and a tshirt. My problem and concern is more that when a club says things like style code/london style etc. it leaves a lot of wiggle room for the bouncers to deny entry to certain people for what ever reason...I can't make this party but will be there the next week for Scumfrog so I guess I will be able to read the reports of the crowd and dress code. |

I don't like people telling me how to dress. I have good fashion sense, and I don't need a bouncer wearing all black with a greasy ponytail telling me if I'm fashionable or not. |

Dressing up is not so much of an issue, leaving your entry up to a bouncer who will decide if you are dressed with the right style is.
What type of shoes are London style? Just say you need to wear dress shoes...because I will bet that some people will get in wearing Diesel casual shoes, some with Puma's, but others with Adidas won't if the bouncers don't like there look.
Again, I haven't been to TIL for over a couple years but I use to see like that happen to many people in the line. |
