Most of the decent music videos aren't trance, sadly. But if we're talking strictly trance, I like Saltwater and Tenshi the most.
I also really like the video for Cafe del Mar, in how nice a tribute to Ibiza it is, and how well the yearning for summer is represented. But most people don't seem to like it much. |

i dont know how good or how much video the ipods can handle but i suggest getting a dvd.
Trance Energy, Sensation Black OR White, Dance Valley....etc |

It tries too hard. That I feel "America" to be a failure of a track doesn't help my opinion, either.
I do think the car drive is a million times better, though. |

Why do you consider it a failure? I love it to pieces. The whole thing. Even the city sound-off in the middle.
And I agree. The original WTIL? video is awesome on many levels. That's pure trance. |

The KLF were always known for their anarchistic plays on the system, but "America" strikes me as uninspired and indulgent compared to the intelligence of previous efforts.
I find it a perversion of "What Time Is Love" with no apparent purpose but simple absurdity. It seems to have little motivation beyond a masturbatory, self-conscious iconoclasm on the part of The KLF, which is exactly the wrong reason for them to do such a thing. It certainly doesn't have music merit, either. In that way, I consider it a failure.
Live at Trancentral was not only damn cool as a composition, but smartly parodied the very sound and attitude it was attempting. |
