Yes, Top Gear and Lyteo are definitely on my top 10 worst of 2005 (along with Bad Deal and anything by Sander van Doorn or Mac Zimms, FTR). I don't even consider that sound to be trance :p but it's not like I have any musical knowledge anyway!
Don't get me wrong: Airwave is still my #2 all-time favorite (behind Synaesthesia). And I liked several of your older remixes (like Under Water). It's easy to tell why if you look at my custom status text... I hope that you can at least agree that the former and latter are completely different styles, and you can't please everyone ;)
That being said, I will refrain from posting any kind of opinion on TA from now on; only questions or information/facts. Hopefully this will put an end to (necessarily) pointless arguments about personal tastes (or just mine, anyway) :) |

I know everybody has his own taste and that is very good!
I respect your opinion and don't critisize it at all. It's good to hear that you like our older tracks, but I have to say that if you produce the same tracks all the time, you get sick of it! The next Rank 1 is going to be different that Beats @ and top gear, because we want to try something else again and not sticking with 1 particular sound. For me trance is changing and for me it changes into a bit more techy styles with good rhytems and good rolling basslines.
Phillipe : Just keep loving the tunes you do and don't be afraid to say that you leave the room when I play, I respect that, but I hope we can do a drink before or after I am finished to discuss a little bit further about the subject.. or just drink :D

Again.. Armin is a spical night. There will be no discounted tickets. I will have a line pass list. Meaning you get to by Pass the people WHO DO NOT have their tickets.
