Not in ears, I already have Shure E3C, and not noise canceling ones I have Bose NCII

What studio/home headphones would anyone suggest that is in the 150-350 USD price range? What are the pros and cons, what are the little nuances about them that seperate them from any other headphone you've got experience with?

I'd like to help you out, but I'm a noob when it comes to dj terminology so can you tell me what's the difference between studio headphones and monitor headphones?
