Heaven has been stripped bear by tha mean characters on 2 wheeles (so I hear), and the group that was looking to buy the place was told they had to run it how those nice folk wanted, so they pulled out..
As for PvD being stuck here, more likely that he won't be hare at all.
I don't really know what happened to little ol adelaide, we were once the dance capital of Oz. Back in the days of Club Escape on saturday nights on Triple J, the rest of the country was listening to Michal Tunn or some request e, while we were tuning in to Groove Terminator and MC Scott Thompson, with tracks like Dominator and James Brown is Dead. Early rave music. Would have been 1990 or there abouts.
I think it had a bit to do with the lure of more people and larger parties in Sydney and Melbourne, and our tiny population just couldn't keep up....
Promoters just don't see it as viable, and that's not just the rave scene, it happens with all sorts of bands too. |

My experience of heaven nightclub is some 45 year old drongo finger ing an 18 year old girl in the middle of the dance floor to all our amusement. Top club tghat one! :p :rolleyes: :o

savvy lol! that place is cheese!!! i hope heaven is open again when i come back to australia but that aint for another year or so.
heaven was the reason why we got any decent acts on a regular basis. |

Adelaide has gone down the ter.... all the we seem to get are Nu Energy Collective, Pendulum, Sharkey...
i dont even know who the these ppl are except pendulum but there the only acts we get down here, now there here almost every month playing at Earth... which was called adelaides new super club, its a p.o.s
we need heaven to re-open simply to have a promoter big enough to get the names down here..
and yeh, i doubt pvd will be stopping here :( |

i was to young to see any of that, only got to go to heaven once before it shut lol...
but yeh, must be a thing with finger ing in clubs / shows in adel...
i dj at some of the underage evetns they hold in adel in the dance room.. 3 months ago i saw some bloke banging this sheila against some wall, then 2 weeks ago whilst in the middle of my set i look up to the far back couches in our room and see this fat bitch all over this one guy with his hand goin hard under her skirt whilst her friends hitting him n trying to pull her off haha.. was quite the site... wish the RnB ******s would stay in their own ing room |

| Only decent regular(ish) trance nights are the echo ones, but theyre always on weird days so I never end up going :P |
