ohhh cmon... come along to echo, im always front n centre with the other young brigade in adel for them and blacklightblu shows...
even was lucky enough to play 2 hrs back2back with Dj Solace from 1:30-3:30 at the last echo.. what a night :D |

yeah, see this is what makes me angry.
there is ing all trance events, i always think oh great i'll never find someone that listens to trance like me in adelaide, it almost makes me sad, i know what you mean by hard dance events all over the place and for whoever sed listen to house and goto savy's i'll tell you to get ed, i want my trance, its anoying how house is played in every ing club in adelaide. You know i reckon if all us adelaidians got together and did a bit of running around we would be able to get some really good stuff going on down here, but i doubt thats gonna happen, i just gotta work harder at dj'ing and hopefully get myself out there to please all us trance addicts.
oh and i kinda like house its just, my heart is too full of love for trance, wil be checking out savvy as soon as i get an id, lol, and arent heavens events being held at St. Pauls atm.

And yeah, all the heaven stuff is at st. pauls, but i dont know where you got the idea that included trance :p

If you dont already know about it listen to Fresh on Saturday nights after clubbers drive for the global trance show. don't know them personally, but they got great tunes. Starts at about 10 or 11 pm.
I'm more than willing to help get a good trance night happening round town. i just bought a stack of tunes last week.
What are the echo shows? Are they unlicensed or somethun?

brett james and inferno sat nights from 11pm - 1am on fresh for global trance, tune in.. always a great show and there top blokes aswell..
also tune into insomnia friday nights with brett james as he normally plays some top prog and trance from about 12am-3am |

| my group has had some amazing times at the echos. shame that most of them i went to didnt have the best of turnouts. except that first one a few years back at the soda with steve stranglis. was packed and it ing went off. RIP SodaRoom & Heaven. |

Actually, not an issue I'm afraid.
The curfew mainly applies to passenger craft. Many smaller jets, including business jets are able to operate during the curfew period, including Cessna Citations, Gulfstreams and LearJets.
But yeah . . . . . . . Adelaide gets shafted by most music acts, not just trance artists. It took a huge campaign to get the Foo Fighters over here, most pass us by.

hey skot_e, yeah i just turned 17, getn an id soonish maybe, but doesn't really bother me too much atm anyway, but yeah thats why at the end of this year for my 18th me and my sis are having a huge joint party, hiring out a club coz its her 21st a couple weeks after. anyways all good about the show on fresh, i reckon i've tuned into that a couple times, some good stuff, but its the events that we need to get crankn so all us adelaide TA's can rock it 2getha.

| tis a shame you don't get many of the top djs there. I saw Ferry Corstena and RvB in Adelaide at the end of 2004 and considering it was on a thurs and cost a hell of alot of money to get in it was really busy with an awesome crowd. I've been trying to persuade Slinky to put on a night there when they do their Australia tours, we shall see ;) |

NYE - uhhhhhhhh, yeah. Eddie Halliwell was cancelled. So as usual, unless you love Hard Dance, Adelaide has nothing on.
And recently:
Sasha - didn't come
Diggers - didn't come
MIKE, JOC, Dumonde, Katana, didn't come.
And they are just the ones that did a majorish tour (you could also include Zabiela and a few others)

Yep, in my opinion 2005 was the worst year ever for Adelaide in terms of quality internationals and decent events. |
