my boyfriend lives in jeans and those tanks and then he has a few dressier shirts but he hardly wears them. he's pretty simple with his style...jeans, t-shirt and sneakers. it's kinda cute.
i tried picking out stuff for him to try on when we were at the mall and he didn't like anything i picked out for him, yet everything he grabbed for me to try on, i loved. i'm scared to shop for him.
i can't wait to see him all dressed up sexy for new years eve in his black courderoy (sp) sport jacket and jeans with a dress shirt on....:crazy: |

dude, if anything, those types of guys try even harder to make a fasion statement. :wtf:
i don't like overly fashionable menswear either...but a nice dress shirt untucked with some cool jeans and some deisel dress shoes or something works for me! or just jeans and a tshirt...i really like those horizontal thick striped short sleeved polo shirts too.
i also have a thing for my man in gym shorts (basketball shorts) and a tank with nikes on:eyespop: :eyespop: oh my god, nothing is hotter than that. |

I never said anything about making fashion statements, or the try-hardness of any sub-culture's way of dressing.
I simply said the high fashion men's look doesn't appeal to me.

Agreed, a courderoy sports jacket and jeans doesn't even approximate "dressed up", in fact I would suggest that is about as casual as casual gets. IF that's dressed up by his estimation then he really is trash....... like people who wear jeans and t-shirts to weddings or funerals..... ing classless! |
