REVIEW : Armin van Buuren @ Red-Lite (pg. 3)

Hey guys.. just got back home now with my girlfriend, Ashley .. INCREDIBLE NIGHT it was great to meet everyone Shanny, Lisa Loo, Fayaree, Clublifexxx, Tia and Malek etc.
We got completely lost on the way there.. but still managed to get in the door before midnight. There was no line.. thank god.. cause it was soo cold! The club had a lounge room when you walked in that was pretty cool and on each side of it was a room. Hip-hop in one, electronic in the other. The opening djs were horrible.. but we met a lot of really nice people. K.. now Armin. When he walked into the booth the crowd went nuts. Armin opened his set with U2 - New Years Day.. perfect way to start his set. There were soo many good tracks and highlights from his set.. that I really don;t feel like mentioning all of them.. but the biigest highlight of his set was when he dropped Sail and then he jumped onto the top of the dj booth and started dancing to it. I've never seen Armin so into a set like that before. He was singing along to all the vocal tracks.. and dancing his ass off.. he really, really looked like he was having a good time. I must say that this was the best set I have ever seen Armin play live and possibly the best I've ever heard from him.. ever. It was unbelivable! Unfortunately, there were no cameras allowed at the event.. but lucky me manged to sneak mine in. I didn;t take a single photo because I didn't want to have the camera flash go off.. but I did mange to get a ton of videos. The problem is that most of them didn;t turn out very well because the club was really dark and I had to hold my camera down pretty low to avoid it being seen by security. But I will post a few of the better videos (Armin standing on the dj booth, dancing to Sail) once I get the chance to go through them all. Thanks to everyone for an unbelivable night! Can;t wait till next time! Come back to Toronto/Montreal soon!!

| Armin DEFINITELY made up for us being lost for 4 hours and some ty ass electro dj playing before him. Armin completely blew me away!! (as usual) Played track after track after track, my cheeks were so sore from smiling so much. Highlight of my night SO SERENE:crazy: :crazy: I was dying to hear this. My boyfriend made a sign with So Serene written on it and I got it signed! (thanks to Dave Lewis) One more to add to the collection. Like Chris said, there were honestly too many hightlight to name. Hearing Without You and Bigger Palace were probably the other two highlights of my night. Linds and I were singing our hearts out even though he played the dub. Didn't matter to us. Oh ya and of course when he got up on the dj booth and started dancing to Sail. This was probably the best highlight from any party that I have been to. Met Shanny, Lisa Loo, oneeleven, clublifexxx, DJCharlie, Franics from NYC, Malek and Fayaree...AGAIN!! Had an unbelievable time with you guys. Although, I was a little disappointed in you guys.!:tongue2 When he played Zocalo, I wanted people to sing to the melody (Like in Armin Only) but no one would. Oh well. Chris already mentioned most of things that I wanted to say, so I won't repeat the stuff that he wrote. Partied with a lot of amazing people, old friends and new. Can't wait until Armin comes back again! |

| Wow what a night Armin impressed as always with that sick tracklisting. oh boy. When we were on the middle of the dance floor I wasnt able to swallow due to the bass...damn the base in there was deadly..after armin had to drive up north to my chalet...longest hour of my life...but got here safe. great night! good to see everyone was partyin on goin insane..loved it. |

I was waiting to hear it but don't think it came. Though I was a bit late getting there so I might have missed it. Fayraree can cofirm, he was waiting to jizz his pants if it came on lol. |

He didn't play Love themed Dusk and Jonas Steur Castamara either.
For pictures and video hopefully Malek will put them on his website before the end of the week. The guy covered Armin and Celebration what a night.
