Lost my job after September 11th and all that, went back down under and spent a couple of years living in outback New Zealand, flying an air ambulance around isolated maori communities.
A pretty good experience in a lot of ways but having done it, I must say I really don't feel sorry for the Americans on here who bitch cos they think their trance music scene is less than vibrant :rolleyes:
It's nice to be back in musically civilised parts again. I so desperately need a fix of a big massive huge 50000000-frenzied-clubbers kind of thing epic trance event a.s.a.p. - got to pay some big bills for the next couple of months and then I'm definitely gonna make a pilgrimage down south to the next big-event UKTA meet up.
That reminds me, I 'would' have said I'd meet up with you all at the next crasher NEC but no - because I finally get to make my escape from hicksville and come all the way back to Britain and it seems there's no bloody Gatecrasher any more :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: Now I know how Tom Hanks felt in that movie when he was stuck on the desert island for years and the only thing that kept him alive was dreaming about his girlfriend, and he finally makes it back to America and she's shagging someone else :whip: What the hell happened? |

i feel raped like that too. get back to sheffield after a year away to find they've stopped it all. i don't even know if there will be a seriously big event for a while, only gkgg seems to be a serious contender :( |
