living in mid wales at the minute
like more the harder side of trance nowadays but have been through a few different genres(acid techno,house,techno, D&B etc,etc) in my years....and am now back onto the hard trance styles again...
i put on a night where i am, Called "Glitch" which is a night of hard dance genres in room1 and hip hop/drum and bass in room 2...
anyways, need to get off now....just introducing myself before i start posting....might speak to you all soon..

hey all
Ive been on here for a while now just never ventured into these parts. Guess I should say introduce myself :)
Name: chris (spin under DJ Element at the min. name came from a username I choose years back. Im a skateboarder and Element is my fav skate brand so I took DJ Element from that)

About moi:
I spin prog/uplifting/hard trance occasionally a bit of hard house when I fancy a change. Earliest memories of listening to trance is when I was 11.
I had just moved from London to Plymouth. For a few months I didnt know anyone and got bored at home so I found an old amp and tuner sperates wired em up and used to listen to radio 1 at night with judge jules, paul oakenfold, john 00 flemming.
That was me hooked on a life long drug :D Since then I had an ambition to spin. I loved trance so much I wanted to be a part of it and get inside it. I saw spinning the only way of doing that.
My musical taste goes further than trance. I listen to hip-hop (would love to learn scratch) the likes of Dr Dre, Big Pun, G-Unit, Snoop, Nas, Jay-z.. I also enjoy an occasional bit of chilli peppers, foo fighters, feeder, lost prophets, the streets, bob marley (legend!)...
Aside from music Im a skateboarder (7 years) but I broke my leg and snkle (had surgery with pins and plates to repair it) so Ive layed off it the last year or so. Im also a bit of an artist. I design sites, flyers when I can be bothered. Thats if im not messing around with my pc or other bits of hardware.
Job:
I work for a company called ERS (Electronic Repair Solutions) im a stores person so I have to supply the technicians with components. Its a good laugh and a theres a guy there who dj's hard trance/techno so its ideal having someone to chat to about djin and things like that :) Gonna burn off a set ive done soon and pass it on to him since he has a weekly residency at my local club :D
Thinking of going back to college and get myself a trade. Possibly become a chippie (carpenter). I would like to get myself a residency at some local clubs sometime int he future. Luckily we have a trance/hard house seen down here so im kinda lucky but theres compition but im determined to get myself out there :D
