i'd post a review but i havent slept at all since friday morning, i havent even been home yet, i dont remember much from last night except that i had a wonderful time and i got groped a lot.
but i did get the Brian Transeau haircut at some point this morning.
great to see so many TA's out

Mike and Max were both on point and there were a ton of great tracks throughout the night. Mike - very nice to hear Mandarine Girl and We Make Contact. The Chelonis R. Jones remix you played was bangin' as well. Some of the highlights I remember from Max:

Due to open bar, only getting 2 hours of sleep the night before and a brilliant plan to drink somewhere else for less and come back, I left before Max even went on, but Mike's set was really good.
Anyway it was good to hit up Soundbar and see everyone (sorry I missed you Phreek) and meet some new people. See you next time and glad Max's (short) set was good. |

Awesome night! Great time hanging w/everyone for my bday. Soundbar was madness...more than I expected for the first Friday after New Years. Thanks for all the b-day wishes, shots, drinks, and other assorted gifts.
Glad you guys enjoyed the opening set ;) I love playing that room...except for the lack of monitors during the first half hour. It was great to have everyone dancing and clapping even before midnight. Maskio - Minimal Attraction seemed to get everyone going.
Max kicked ass. Thats definitely the best I have heard him. I asked him about this track which I thought was the best of the night. He said he just finished it and it should be out around WMC (title: "Shake that thing"). Really cool guy to talk to - he seemed to have a blast. As banging as it was, he didnt go over 128! |
