Alright, wow... finally can comprehend life enough to post a review... What a fantastic night!

Lots of TA's, we had Myra, Tony, Bobby, Chris, and myself all together for the show and back at Myra's after which was sweet, and it was great to see a bunch of the usual suspects out and about again, though we missed a lot of people at the end of the night (Yuris, Jonze were did you guys go?).

As far as the music goes, holy god... about as good as it gets out at a club for me!

Mike's set was terrific, I couldn't have asked for anything better! I thought the darker more electro/techy house was the perfect complement to Max's style, and I couldn't have been more grateful that the only time I've ever made a request to a DJ he OPENS with it (thanks again for that Mike, "Moscow Rendezvous" owns!)!! And it was also great to hear "Mandarine Girl" out for the first time as well... Very well done Mike, hope you enjoyed the birthday present... ;)

As far as Max Grahams set goes, this was exactly what I've been wanting to hear from this guy since I heard his Plattenleger set this last summer! It was amazing, and aside from what Bobby already mentioned (The final 3 were AMAZING! "Changes" -> "Alright" =Win!), when I finally got to hear the Trentmoller remix of "What Else is There" out at a club I was out of my mind! His mixing was phenomenal, he was a fun guy to watch, I'm so glad I finally got to see him live, and I really hope we get another chance to see him at the WMC!

All in all, a terrific night... Well done gentlemen, that was the best night of music I've heard out at a club in a loooooong time...

:happy2:

Lawl... oddly enough, I was going to PM you and ask if you saw how high he took it, but I thought it might be a weird obscure detail to ask for...

Oh, and one more random post, Mike what actually was the Chelonis R. Jones remix you played?

Bobby and I both recognized the vocals right away, but I don't think either of us could figure out exactly what it was...

I asked him about this track which I thought was the best of the night. He said he just finished it and it should be out around WMC (title: "Shake that thing").

Chris Lake & Ramsay - Shake That Thang (Max Graham Remix)

In his November Promo as well. Quite a choon indeed!

That could indeed be it, as I just copied that info from another tracklist. :)

Haven't slept since Friday, and my mind is full of verbal diarrhea, but I will say that Max blew me away; his best set to date that i've heard. Deep, dirty, funky, chunky, sexy house that had me dancing nonstop. Lots of new stuff thrown in that needs to be ID'd...; Midway through the set, sounded like Max decided to push the mixer's bass control to max level and left it there the rest of the time which left the place shaking! My ears are still ringing. :wtf: Great track selection, loved hearind Automatic Weapon, Shake That Thang, and the Sander remix of the MYLO track is top notch!

Went a little overboard with the vodka and red bull, and danced on the speaker/podium waaaaay too much, keep getting embarrassed all over again when I remember.

glad everyone enjoyed themselves!!
