Hell yeah!! I was thinking for a while about the best seconds I've ever heard until you mentioned this one. That 1 sec overload gives, by far, one of the biggest surges of energy ever, in my opinion :D
and happy birthday marc :) |

| Right off the top of my head.....the best 5 sec. or so in a choon...would be in Solar Stone's - Seven Cities...when that whatever it is (guitar, piano, "instrument") gets the solo...right before the build up. And it just sounds like heaven. Makes me imagine that I'm flying.... I love that part. |

Veracocha - Carte Blanche
the part where the beat kicks in after the piano melody.
SWEET.
Johan Gielen - Beauty of Silence
minimalistix - struggle for pleasure |

The Build-ups and drop outs in Tony Walker - Field of Joy are a work of genius, sheer quality
All of Matt Darey - Liberation (Matt Darey mix) gives me the chills, amazing beat, amazing breakdown, amazing vocals, amazing build up, amazing melody. amazing :p
Gouryella - Tenshi (transa mix), the second build up gets me going soooo much
Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Pulser mix). I always thought this tune was special, but when I heard Guy Ornadel drop it last night at Passion, I went crazy, it's definately one of my fave tunes ever now
Ps I was 18 yesterday :D |

agree with:
System F - Exhale
PvD - For an Angel
and also Dj Sakin - Protect Your Mind(Ayla Remix)
around the middle, where the catchy melody goes up... that build-up was so good... |

| Everyday, the first break down, all i can say is WWWWWOOOOOOOWWWWWWW! and i agree with carte blanche, when all u can hear is the piano, and the main riff comes in... *shivers* |
|

| Xavier |
Embargo - Hysterie (Darkmoon remix) when the strings start...and when the strings meet the riff...its like you've entered another world.
William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten remix)
the instrumental bit (the strings)
Veracocha - Carte Blanche when the piano is just playin then stops and the riff kicks in...amazing
DJ Gert - Give me Some more (Public domain debunk remix) when the music stops...and then you can hear that sound which would truly stun the crowd and be lookin at the dj...with a shocked look!
DJ Scot project - Overdrive when you hear the crash and all you can hear is the tune...and around half a minute later the the tune goes banging... |
