Yeah, it's actually not that fast in compared to what you can get in Sweden.
I can get 10/10 Mbit optic LAN for a cheaper monthly price than I pay now, but I found out too late. I'm stupid. :(
Other than that 24Mbit are pretty normal, but you can get 100 Mbit in quite a few places. I got like 5 friends on 100Mbit. Bastards. :whip: |

24Mbit & 100Mbit is unheard of here in the states. Must be fiber optic. Although we have ethernet cards ready for this technology, the internet services don't provide this high a speed.:(

my local exchange was one of the early ones done for broadband (in 1999 here) and I was an early customer of BT in 2000 on it, but it's still got a max of 2mb and although some places are doing 10mb now, thats pretty much seen as a huge speed, even though uploads are still 256/512 at the very most :( |

Don't you hate it when internet companies use Mb instead of MB. I can relate better to byte instead of bit because windows, IE, and many other applications use this convention. KByte, Mbyte, and so forth. |

Yep, fiber optic it is. I can "only" get 10/10 Mbit fiber optic myself.Standard over here these days are Gigabit ethernet cards (1000 Mbit). |
