| Hi all, I am from Louisiana, USA. Dj Trashy is from the Lafayette area, I was wondering if anyone has heard of him. I am wondering what type of music it is that he plays. Set Free, All I Ever Wanted, Rave Stomp, are some his hits. Sorry I am new to EDM and I was wondering what it is he plays, because i love it. I think u can get some of his music from limewire. |

why is it that the most moronic users of this forum are always american? and why are they so small minded and insular??
think for a second about the idiocy of your post. you come on a messageboard where the vast majority of users (and certainly most of the ones with a clue) live in places OTHER THAN Louisiana. why would anyone have heard of a trashy local DJ in your area? someone whose production skills are so renowned the world over that you need a P2P program to hear him |

he did ask a rather stupid question that shows a lack of thinking. the VAST majority of posts in the 4 main forums are full of complete and utter e and only serve to clog up any useful info. most people just don't think and post irrelevant crap - the other day I asked if anyone knew of any good italo mix cds and someone came up with the answer "look up kraftwerk, they are not italian but had a huge influence on the sound blah blah blah". completely irrelevant answer |

feel encouraged that at least some americans are trying...
you weren't born walking, and neither were the majority of my countries citizens... the majority of whom i can't stand...
oh well... this is more of a post worthy of the local/party area tho |

Ive heard of him. Hes a breakbeat dj. Thats probably why no one here on TA knew who you were talking about. Do a google search for some breakbeat message boards, you'll find more people who are into the same sound as you. |

I do know DJ trashy.
This saturday was his second performance at club Amphitheater in Ybor City (Tampa) in past 6 months.
He is quite ok as a DJ. He plays breakbeats mostly. I have been to both the nights when he was the DJ and he didn't disappoint. He played some high-energy breakbeat stuff. I can't remember or ID any of them though. |

America ISN'T so much better. But it isn't a hole either like some would like to make out.
No one ever seems to have balanced views of things on forums anyway. So I guess I shouldn't even try to convince either side that they are both backwards in their thinking.
Granted... this post is unneccisary, because it's probably been said a million times before, but hey, it's something I feel strongly about. |
