Wow, 2006 is looking like a year that fresh blood is being pumped into auto industry. Now that Ford is finally getting a message that they need to get their Sh!t together, and GM is finally realizing that baby boomers don't change cars every 2 years, maybe american auto industry will finally start producing cars that are as fun to drive as to look at. Of course, I don't expect it to happen anytime soon, like it did with Chrysler (almost 10 years to turn around) but still, it's nice to see some fresh alloy, even if it is in concept... even if it is not really alloy but some funky composite... nonethelles.
Here's my "wet dream" car of the moment:
Aston Martin 4-door, "Rapide":

Oh, and the car to sacrifice your left (or right) nut for: (2006 BMW M6)

Don't put away your trucker cap and collection of Bon Jovi's hits. Oh, and you best get started on your mullet. Camaro is making a big comeback:

I bet any sum of money (up to $100) that if Chrysler makes this car, every rapper, hip-hopper, or other wannabe will buy this up like crazy. All the rap videos of the future will have nasty b!tches with stretch marks on their thighs, a$$es and b00bs and this car will be the ultimate "hoe hauler" for those who can't afford real rolls or bentley:

tho, I don't think this will make it to production - it would be too much of a threat to Mercedes wing... Just like several other wonderful concepts Chrysler introduced before - all were strangled in infancy to keep MB sales from sinking. |

| Maserati's interior is quite crappy considering the price point. Also, the history of maserati's reliability (or lack thereof) preceeds it. And if that's not enough argument not to buy it - HBO's "entourage" totally killed it for me. (Can you tell I'm a "entourage" hater?) |

I hate to say it but you know that that chrysler is aimed straight for "urban" target market. It is definitely slick and I can see that some of MB / Maybach technology is seeping through the layers to chrysler.
Chrysler is owned by MB and that's why I don't think this car would ever get made - it would be competing against mercedes sedans. I think it has a very far shot to production line. Probably only slim elements would make it here and there.
Tho, tell you what - if MB were to make that ride, stick an AMG-tuned 4.2 V8 and suspension in that bad boy, I'd be one of the first people to put my name on the waiting list. Take my boss out to lunch once and watch my salary double :D... (or get fired for having a better ride than he does).
Oh, and one other thing - that car in coupe would be definitely a worthy bentley coupe challenger (at least from looks standpoint). |

the spyder is basically a 360 modena. the quatroporta i think its a 360 with an extended chassy and differnt suspension etc.
so now they are as reliable as a ferrari. which isnt saying much.
and wtf the enterior of the quattroporte is hot! |
