Slusnik Luna Vs Lowland - Last Train to Trancentral which is a remake of the classic tune by The KLF. Still unreleased though.
I'm not too keen on new versions of classics but Slusnik Luna and Lowland did a great job with this one. One to keep an eye out for!

Thrillseekers are a little past their prime, but I must say, By Your Side was a pleasant surprise that brought back pleasant memories of their older sound.

Manuel Le Saux is amazing, you need to check his sets out on ETN.

It's pretty much gonna be a loop as far as I see like everything in life. All genres of trance will always be around, to what degree is impossible to tell of course.

Melodic trance may take the back burner while housey, electro proggy stuff becomes more popular as people get sick of hip hop and find the afore mention genres more accessable.

Then maybe as that picks up some of the harder more melodic club trance will come back in. Then it will be washed over with euro pop cheese trance, thus resulting in melodic trance being uncool again.

Rinse, Lather, Repeat.

hey, nice list ... you even got some of my favourites on it!

I am of the opinion in the future things will get more blurry concerning house/tech/prog and psy-prog ... there are already some tracks and artists merging a little into that direction. Nice melange I must say, I like it and am waiting for further development, maybe I'll end up in the tech/house/prog department in 3 years :P

This isn't anything new. If you want to know its future look at whats happened in the past with musical genres. Theres a large split in electronica between genre lines. One day some hot young artist is going to come busting out and be like look you idiots, this is retarded, lets work together. He'll defy the conventions of strict style lines and merge the best of many grenres. This will create a new genre that will become the popular choice and the cycle will continue.
