So, when do you think the world will end?

Looking at the current state of international affairs/natural disasters, namely:
- war in iraq
- global spread of terrorism
- political turmoil between the "haves" = e.g. western(ized) countries vs. "have nots" = e.g. "3rd world countries"
- global warming and natural disasters
- booming economy of india/china and associated consumption of energy resources
and that's not even mentioning extraterrestrial threats (asteroids, comets, etc - not aliens), I'd say that human kind probably has until the end of this century... Of course, I'm an optimist. :D

I'm proud to report that we passed this test (so far) with flying colors. Our village idiot has been kept away from the big red button for the past 6 years. The security must be pretty good. I figure we have to keep him entertained for two more years before we can breathe out in unison of relief.
So, here's keeping my fingers crossed that Dubya either don't know where the button is or can't read/understand the manual on how to use it. :thepirate |

u also forgot the coming of a new world order. otherwise referred to under the innocent term globalization. the economies are integrating. nation borders are coming down. trade barriers are coming down. governments are giving a little power at a time to bigger international organizations. ESPECIALLY the EU. we're on our way to that one world government.
christians would say that the anti-christ is at the head of it, i hope none of this comes to pass, but it probably will. |
