It looks like Just Be was not sung live. Can anyone confirm?
Maybe Angela Taylor got the boot because she butchered the song during the Las Vegas concert. |

Yeah, no I was just mainly getting at the point that people like that suck. It really put a damper on a night that should have been one I'll remember for a long time...But hell, at least tiesto was good! Waiting on videos and tracklistings. ;) |

time for my review, might not come across like i had a good time, but i did.
first let me start off with the positives, i loved the visuals and lights tiesto had. not as good as the europe TIC ones but still, not bad at all. i liked the little firework sparkler they had when he first came on and i didnt mind the circus , some of those guys have some freakin TALENT! they werent there ALL the time so it didnt bother me one bit. i liked how there were no breaks in his set. ive read from other tics that there would always be a break before switching continents. i'm really glad he didnt do that. and i LOVED the first half hour to hour of his set. really dope .
now to negatives...
FIRST OFF, the sound was FLAT ass in there! my ears were ing bleeding (okay not really but they wanted to) and NOTHING even sounded good. i noticed it when he first came on, but it, what i can do, so i got over it. def wasnt what i was used to from the crystal clear space system. there was no bass at all, until the drummer dudes came on. lol. i even think the speaker on the left died or partially died towards the end of the show.
second...JES CAN ING BLOW ON MY NUTSACK! actually no i wont let her, shes too ing ugly. but omg did she ever SUUUUUCK! her voice sounded like ass and that waterfall track is horrible! then as the rush comes and the whole place goes nuts. so what do i do? "hey karen, i'm gonna go outside and smoke a cig, i'll be back when the songs done." :haha: karen told some guy too that the song sucked while i was gone and the guy was ready to stick her for it. thank god felipe was there and told the guy the track sucked too. ;) thanks felipe.
thirdly, i've never seen so many high school jocks sing like little ing girls when just be was on. HAHAHAHHAH. no ing way. you had to be there. these big muscular dudes with no shirts, rolling balls, singing just be. ING CLASSIC i tell ya.
but what killed the night for more than anything else was that EVERYTHING THAT I HATE ABOUT OUR SCENE was there there. from the little candy kids with pacifers in their mouths and their eyes rolling to the back of their heads to the pumped up steroid mother******s running around without shirts. i saw atleast 5 drug sales going on. i smelled bud like every 2 seconds and even meth once. :wtf: almost saw a fight break out. some kid was going nuts and threw water over the crowd, some steroid freak came out of no where from about 6 rows up front and pushed the kid almost to the ground ready to kill him.
i dunno. overall the first hour i loved tiestos set, even though he didnt play a single song i wanted to hear. but after jes he went way too far back into his record collection. should of stuck to the new . but he was playing for his crowd. little 16 year old teenie boppers. its sad, but thats whats making him the money. but i expected that, so all the negatives i took them in stride and just tried to have a good time. which i did.
glad to see atleast some tas out there, felipe, ivan, and tranceman and his wife. you guys are cool as . hope to see you guys out again soon.
OH JESUS CHRIST, i nearly forgot. this made me want to go steal a gun and start shooting people. people were chanting and i swear atleast 5 different times "WHOOP WHOOP." WHAT THE IS YOUR PROBLEM? this isnt a god damn hip-hop concert. ing etards i swear. one time they started chanting whoop whoop and then it changes to tiesto. then tiesto starts turning down the volume so he can hear people chanting his name. i'm sooooooooooooorry but no dj should be THAT ing full of themselves. :rolleyes: |

Yeah, I got elbowed in the face..literally the face, full force. Did I start ? Nah. Did they say sorry? Nope...pretty lame.
I was up front and some idiot spilt water all over, although it felt good so I didn't care, but one person I was with freaked out about it a bit...
It smelt like vicks in there.
And I agree with you on the "Whoop whoop!" haha.
I had a really good time though! |

They started exaclty at 8:30PM and ended exactly at 12:30AM. The visuals, the fireworks, the stunts, and oh damn, the MUSIC just flowed flawlessly, and the people, what a great crowd!!! By the way, there were plenty of people selling tickets at the door because their friends couldn't make it. That's how I got my ticket for cheaper. Floor tickets!!
And guess what, I love 8:30pm-12:30AM show. Especially knowing that the DJ starts at 8:30pm. Screw Clubs I WANT CONCERTS. I WANT CONCERTS.

Alrights. Time for my review.
The place was nice, good set-up, and I think that everything else has been said. It was not PACKED SOULD OUT, apparently they only had a certain amount of tickets to sell. About the search, I had my Camera in my back pocket, the guy only padded my front ones and I was through.. ;-). Now direct to the point.
I missed the countdown due to the encounter of an old friend that wanted to smoke a cig and asked me to go to the smoking area, dumbass that Iam it was 8:27 when I exited and heard it.. got there when the fireworks werre going off.
Tiesto started with the tunes, loved it, I was very pumped and hyped, and lead me to tell Karen the following " No wonder Tiesto has been chosen number one so many times ", seriously, the energy, the vibe that he brings is something very rarely seen, the tracks, all flowed beyond my expectations.. everything until JES came on. I was like dammm.. I knew she would sing, but dammm that killed it lol. Everyone in there were singing from the bottom of their lungs though hehe.. but I enjoyed, I was so pumped that I just let it go and went on to have a great time. I was hoping for the Tiesto rack not to touch the decks but they did but hey.. I let it go. Flight 643 is what I wanted to hear and when I did.. I just went out of my mind. A lot of other tunes that were probably mentioned, loved it!!
Now the shirt that tiesto threw.. I swear I saw like 10 muscle peeps on top of that fighting for it until the very end! They were savages!!!!!!!!
In conclusion... I had a blasting time, I needed it after the disappointment of PvD the week before. Im a happy camper now.
TA's that I saw and good to hang out to were Ivan and friend, FLo & Karen, Tranceman and Wife, Jordy and Marinil + friends, and Rodrigo and Friend! Had a blast guys..
PS: I saw a bunch of people chanting EdgarV after tiesto was done heh.. :p |
