| Was I the only one that went to the afterparty? lol It rocked btw. Edgar opened with his usual killer set and surprisingly. GA didn't dissapoint either. Spent most of the time in da DJ booth with Edgar & Rachel |

Damon told me that Acosta rocked it just as good as he did at the Shadow Lounge Reunion.....I'm STILL finding it hard to believe, but I trust his word. |

The concert was great. Best/saddest part of the night...seeing this huge ripped guy w no shirt bawling his eyes out when The Loves We Lost came on.
It was great finally hearing Aftermath live.
And one of the early posters in this thread said Alone Tonight was played. I don't think it was...can anyone else confirm it? |

People keep diassing GA. If you look at his stats he is premium quality. Every dj has a bad set here and there but since shadow louge people cant complain. Hes been on fire. No reason to say he sucks.. |

That's a matter of opinion. From what many people have told me he used to rock the old Shadow Lounge back in the day. I've seen this damn fool 3 times live and he's never impressed me. When he plays all he seems to do is play old stuff. That's good to hear every now and then, but NOT EVERY SINGLE WEEK, for sake. Not only that, according to my PVD @ Spirits review thread, NexusGroove stated that Acosta trainwrecked like there was no tomorrow, so thus far, the bad outweighs the good.

yeah and according to that same dj list ATB is the #9 in the world. THAT. that alone proves its a bull popularity contest. just look at what the tas were able to accomplish. getting a fellow ta, mikey mike on the list at 110 or something like that. no one but us knew about that. its just a popularity contest. i dunno, what i guess i'm trying to say is that "stats" dont matter. if someone likes GA, cool, if you enjoy it by all means go and have a good time. i'm not one to sit here and say "that guy sucks and if you like him you dont have for taste!" but me personally, i liked him YEARS ago, i just cant get into his current stuff. its just not how ive progressed. also the fact that at ultra5 i think it was he didnt play cuz they put him on mainstage #2 not the ampitheater and he decided he was too good for that and didnt play. thats ing gay. and that shows the guy is just full of himself. i dont even think he should be on mainstage #2. he should be in that tiny ass locals tent at 2pm. for those reasons i will never give that any of my money. thats also why after pvd in nov we were out the door before he even finished his first song. :haha: all i'm saying is stats dont mean everything. its all about INDIVIDUAL taste.
