i forgot to mention that about 1 year ago on steve's forum he totally bashed minimal and now he posted a thread about how much he thinks minimal is so great. pathetic. |

it's so typical. I think too many people have the idea that all minimal is boring or some BS concept of it. I really enjoy the bouncey minimal stuff for example Gabriel Ananda and Dominik Eulberg - Schierker Kreisel. It mean it has such cool synths and such a bouncey Bassline. Also the term minimal is such a mislabel when so much is ACTUALLY going on in the track.

Can anyone recommend any REALLY good minimal? I havent seen what all of the fuss is about, maybe I am just listening to the wrong artists.
I am really open minded so I will give anything a chance. Someone please name the best of the best minimal track and I will check them out. |

| well...you could look at the m_nus compilation that was released to get a feeling of the type of "minimal" tracks that richie is putting out. let me think about this, but some of the sets by dominik, ricardo, richie etc. are all considered "minimal" |
