Been quite some time since a sort of club mix was recorded. Ive lingered on the side of more easier listening mixes for too long so thought I'd do something a little different. A bit harder edged as it progresses but hopefully something you can still enjoy outside of a club environment.

I just remembered that I recorded this lil techno/tech house session with my friend Steve (DJdecomp on here). I'm on for the most part.

Traktor S4 and just recorded through laptop mic, yes my mixing could be interesting...2 tracks for the most part, but some are traditionally mixed in, some "cut" at their ending/peaks such as at 10:04/11:50/16:35 i believe
from 21: and over is straight up technoesss. Yeah i like to self criticize...robots at 25:00 on lol
Also is it acceptable to mix in like i did at 33:45? (i know the eq's shouldve been better) Im still learning so I am trying out diff methods
Also there was an issue with the laptop where if you load in the next track, you would hear some audio artifacts + you have to quickly put up the fader up and down as a fix lol...

Hey guys,
Here's my set from Push The Night last Friday at Sullivan Room, opening for Brad Miller with Tristan Dominguez closing out the night.
My set was from 10:30-12:30, and features mostly tech/deep house with tracks from Chymera, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Jimpster, Hunter/Game, Danny Daze, Hot Since 82, and wAFF.

I've always liked these guys and they've put in some serious work as true club djs. This is their last year together and the sets lately have been as good as ever. This one, though, really was just over-the-top for me. So much so, in fact, that it is the first set I've ever posted anywhere. I listened to it straight through the other day and was blown away. I'm putting it in a couple forums hoping somebody reinforces my opinion or, at least, tells me I'm out of my mind. :tongue2 Maybe I was just in a weird mood that day or something. ?
