Hey gang, glad to see so many familiar faces, I hope everyone is doing well. :)
Was just reflecting today on how much I miss Toronto, and all the fun I used to have with many of you.. the houseparties (Halloween @ my pad 03), roadtrips (Cream04, DEMF03), and all those nights @ System/Boa, etc.
Hopefully I can manage to make one of the upcoming events on reading week this year, papers and assignments permitting ;)
All the best,
Rob |

Ahhhhh man, I'm stuck in this -ass PA city near NYC.
Hopefully I'll find this kinda money back home, or even in TO (plus a work visa), but until then, I'll just be here, hunting for a girl who doesn't thing UGGs are still cool, eats sushi with a fork, or says, "wow! you like techno?? I like techno too!" - when I'm rockin a hot Lawler set. |

Let me guess. town in PA near nYC would be either Scranton, Allentown, or Reading?
Philly would probably also qualify as a town. |

Bingo. At least my loft is pimp.
Trust me, Philly is Paris compared to this sheltered excuse for a city. |

Scranton is much like the town I lived in last year- Erie, PA.
Teen birth rates are quite high as evidenced by the multitude of strollers being pushed down the street by teenagers. Gas station and ice cream shop on every block. Erie county=most obese county in PA.
Downtown mostly consists of parking lots, hospitals, rest homes, and fast food.
Got a newly renovated 2 bedroom apt for $425 a month though. Was able to save up enough money in one year to pay for grad school.
Good luck. |
