Yes, go WITH THE FLOW. Not 50 km/h SLOWER THAN THE FLOW! And not in the friggin' PASSING LANE!
My entire drive down the 400 today was following a line of drivers all doing inside passes on idiots going 60 in the left lane. The inside lanes were completely clear - there was hardly any traffic at all.

well im a immigrant and im equally as frustrated with those points. i have no problems driving in these conditions and i honestly cant believe how badly and slowly some canadians drive in these conditions.
i cant understand why people who have lived here their whole lives freak out when snow falls. i just make sure theres enough space in between me and the car in front of me but i drive the speed limit, maybe a little over.
i deliver pizzas plus i have family and friends in the country so i see it all. i hate going down the trans-can and having two cars side by side going the same speed!! :whip:

Yes. ;)
Immigrants who have lived here for years, sure, they drive and get road rage like any Canuck. It's the ones who have never seen snow before (perhaps have never even seen a highway before) that cause so many problems. Most likely they've never heard the phrases "snow tires" or "passing lane" before. All that goes through their head is that the left lane has the least traffic and is therefore safest to drive in at any speed.
I've seen cars with signs representing certain ethnic driving schools that claim to offer instructions in a different language, and let me tell you, even the instructors don't seem to know what the hell they're doing (I know they're the instructors because there are no passengers in the car). |

Its one thing to drive with the conditions. Its another to over react and cause problems for everyone else.
People dont realize that slow drivers are many times MORE dangerous than fast ones. If i were in charge of this province id create minimum speed limits with a sign underneath that said "conditions permitting"
That may not solve bull winter drivers but that would certianly solve the issue of people going 60-80 on the freeway in crystal clear light to moderate traffic conditions! Even if they are in the right lane these idiots shouldnt be on the freeway |

I don't see how snowing is considered "crystal clear weather".
When it's snowing, I generally notice that *everyone* slows down, except for the idiots who insist on blasting by at 120 anyway. |
