You gotta be kidding me...if you are spending a total of 30 hours with her through out the week then one night out with the guys to have fun is more then acceptable....hmmmmm 30 hours with the GF vs 5-8 hours with your buddies in a week...I think she is already taking up enough time. If she can't understand that spending time with your friends is important to you then obviously she doesn't care about you or your friends and she thinks that the world must stop and only revolve around her.
The fact that any woman thinks that she is more important then friends is crazy.....maybe women all over the world should realize that a guy needs to spend time with their friends....it's part of being a guy....spend too much time with your woman and you will learn to hate them and the relationship will not work. The best way to make a relationship work is having time away from each other. |

Thats exactly what I was thinking as I read it. I mean getting pissy about one night a week with your friends WHAT?!? If I told my mates I wasn't comming out cos my gf told me I'd never live it down. Besides I go out twice a week normally (fri & sat) now that I'm working, but at uni.... :toothless used to be 3 or 4.
I just don't understand it.
Though I should state at this point I don't have a gf right now. So maybe you shouldn't listen to me. :stongue: |

I bet the only reason she didn't trust you or want you going out with your buddies is because she herself was doing things that made HER untrustworthy.
That's usually the case. People who are up to no good tend to project their feelings onto everyone else. |

Well I don't know her well enough to say. I do like her though.
My statement applies to the general population, which usually tends to be true. I've seen it many times with a friend of mine. Pulling the double standard , worried about what her bfs are up to, only because the whole ing time they aren't doing and it's my friend who's up to no good...hence she thinks her bfs must also be up to no good.
I dunno, just judging from what you said, there's NO valid reason why you shouldn't have been "allowed" to go out with your friends. So this is all I could think of. |
