| The color knobs and the whole harmonic mixing thing on the 800 intrest me alot. I hope they have one to play with at Ultra this year! :D |

Now that I'm reading more about this (a great use of company time) it sounds even better...
** ROTARY OPTION ** :) That makes me smile! |

The 800 looks nice.
But for $1500~ I'd probably opt for a Xone 92.
Bring it down to $1000 though and we'll talk. |

edit: as for the mixers...the 400: 2 channels? no thanks. the 800:, looks pretty cool, but I'd just spend the extra money for the xone:92. |
Yeah but does the Xone:92 have MIDI mapping for all the sliders and knobs? I think Pioneer is crazy to ask $1500 for a mixer that doesn't do much more than the X1500 or even the DJM600 for that matter. The sounds quality is probably improved quite a bit, but other than that I don't see the point... |

$700 for a 2 channel mixer?
I believe my avatar says more than any words could right now. |

exactly.
just another sorry attempt by pioneer to produce professional DJ equiptment.. when will these children give up and leave it to the real audio engineers?
anyhow, there's no way in hell i would buy a mixer that has a "color" control on each channel. last time i checked, i like it when my audio equiptment doesnt color the sound.
as if the array of silly effects wasnt enough, they have to add "color" effects. someone at pioneer is eating way too much acid. |

sup everyone....
800 looks aight..... true, it has way more midi capabilities than the 92..... but c'mon, MSRP $1500? and keep in mind that does not include rotary option, which will probably cost another couple hundred. i got my xone 92 rotary for $1540 shipped..... i guess we're gonna have to wait to see if 24/96 sound quality is better than A&H.... and A&H is top notch
so yea, i guess its nice they upgraded the 600.... but i got my 92, and i'm never looking back.
my 2 cents....
