i really hope that ill never fight again but i was told that i have one of "those" faces so....

i got jumped on my b-day in 2003, whole place was beating me up i bull you not. thats what saved me, there was so many people trying to get a free shot at me that nobody could get a good one till somebody get an idea to start hitting me with bottles and chairs. im sure if i fell to the ground i would be dead.

got 9 stitches, cracked skull and cracked jaw and i lost sight in my left eye for 7 days.

but it was not all that that changed me, some time after that i saw a guy who started it all, went after him and horror that i saw in his face made me realise that i dont wanna be like that.

i would rather be making sweet sweet love than fight

How did guy respond to that?? I mean, aside from the horror in his face...

Man, da Russkies are some of the most craziest fighters out there. The Rodina does produce some awesome fighters such as Andrei Arlovski. There's one guy I definitely do not want to mess with.

If I was still around I'd love to meet up to train with you guys.
I spent the last 5 months gearing up for the World Martial Arts Championships averaging 8 trainning sessions a week. But prior to July I've invested over 12 years of work towards this. Unfourtunatly I had to put the grappling and BJJ aside for this and focus on my stand up. I am feeling really good and fight ready. Now that it's over with I'm taking the next month off to relax and unwind but then I'll be getting back into it again and am moving to Japan in August for more trainning.
I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, 2 Styles of Karate and Bo-Jitsu (and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu when I have a spare day here and there)
I've also bounced at a really rowdy bar for a year and a bit with only 2 of us on security for a place with 400 people inside some nights, you're pretty much on your own.

Martial arts people alway display self-control and are the least arrogant and most sensible when it comes to a real fight.

I trained Shotokan Karate when I was younger. Even went to go fight in Japan at the Good Will Cup. Got a silver medal too woohoo!!!

Then I trained Russian Sambo about 3 years ago until I went on my ot my travels. The best developed combat system I've ever seen.

Here's the webiste for my Sambo Instructor, check out his bio.

Interesting stuff

I got in two fights in my entire life.

Once in grade two.... my buddy started talking smack about my brand of track pants, and i snapped. I ended up actually taking off his track pants, and made him go bare ass in a half frozen puddle. The sheet of ice on the surface actually cut his butt cheeks.

In the following year, my brother was getting teased by the 'cool kids' for being fat. That day, i was pissed cause my mom forgot to pack me a fruit roll-up, so i took out my rage on those s. Drop kicks, bitch smacks, and all kinds of verbal diarrhea, those kids never ed with my brother again.

.... and my mom swore to include fruit roll-ups in my lunch from that day forward....

No sports for me like this yet...but since I've been workin out, I've seen a couple kickboxing classes that look like a lot of fun! Maybe when I'm in a LITTLE better shape.
