Atlético played stunning tonight and was in the lead with 2-0 after only 9 minutes. Then 3-0 at halftime. Later on they started playing little more secure, but Valera who came in scored 2 goals and the first one was a real cracker!
It's a totally different attitude in Atlético right now with the new manager. Everyone is performing and playing stunning, Petrov was probably the man of the match. Torres scored 2 goals, Kezman played brilliant, Valera played less than 30 minutes and scored 2 goals. Maxi scored a goal as usual and played great.
The defence was also very stable and did allow one goal, which wasn't counting later on.
It's been a great period now in February and in the middle/starting on the end of January.
What a total turnaround by Atlético!
I hope we can reach the European Cups now that we finally got our way of playing to work to. The spirit in the team is huge atm.
We've currently got 38 points and if Villareal loses and Deportivo La Coruña loses we'll advance to the 7th position in La Liga.
30-23 is our goaldifference.
ATLÉTICO!!! :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: |

This weeks big matches is clearly Real Madrid vs. Atlético de Madrid on Santiago Bernabeu and Barcelona vs. Deportivo La Coruña.
I'm really looking forward to it and I'm hoping for 2 entertaining games.
Atlético ftw. |

| What's doing Riquelme in Villaredneck when he could be in a big european club (or any club with some fanbase and history, not a 4-bored-grannies fanbase)? What a loser, like D'Alessandro. |

Atlético de Madrid is playing against Racing Santander tonight and I'm looking for a win after the soure loss against Real Madrid last week in the derby. I forgot to credit Kezman, what a nice goal he made.
We need to advance in the league, to have a chance to play in the European Cups.
Villareal has to lose points, those fags. |
