Not really. Montreal is a very very small town. It's just got two central streets where the bars are and that's it. Not that many people :(
HOWEVER, yes, a lot more liberal, much more pleasant in that respect than the US. |

you on crack?
Montreal Metropolitan: 3,635,700, density 4,326.5/kmē
Washington Metropolitan: 4,796,183, density 3,481.3 /kmē
Thats one million more, spread out more in the farther suburbs (look at that density!).
You haven't proprely visited the city to talk like that about it. |

Anyways I have my eye on San Diego. I've gone out on vacation there, the weather is sweet and lots of fun things to do. Unfortunately expensive, lots of traffic, and that socal life style. |
Ron Burgundy would agree with this choice I'm sure! |

Yes the North side is where it is.
I love Chicago, but if i'd live anywhere else it would prolly be South Beach, which i hope to move there one day. Or also maybe Toronto. |

| Seattle is starting to look more like a Puritan town *spelling. We have so many new laws that are going against the liberties of the people. Rules against smoking, what alcohol can be sold in stores, and laws that prevent strippers from being within 4 feet of the patrons, which means no more lap dances. No whether or not you agree with these laws, this is a direct contradiction against the idea of liberty. Nickels and all of his minions who are now the nannies of Seattle and who claim to be liberal democrats, deciding what is best for the people, are no better then oppressive politicians who are using political and social coercion to make us do what they want to do. For being such a liberal city, we are starting to look like Salt Lake City. If there's one thing I hate more than conservatives, it's politicians who claim the name liberal or democrat but practice politics that go against everything of what liberty and democracy stands for. |
