really interesting...do you think the youth (vocal inspired) is all youth of all generations or is it just this generation. in other words do all vocal inspired music appeal to all youth or just youth of this day and age. |
im 18 ill be 19 in 2 months and vocal trance doesnt inspire nearly as much as trance...i could care less for vocals, but a vocal once ina while is nice |

I think the "younger generation of the edm culture" is what really appeals to him whether you are 18 and just getting into EDM or whether you are 40 and just getting into EDM.
It's only natural to say because trance jocks get alot of visibility in nyc. House/Techno still isn't predominantly headlining big acts here in the city. Yes, Morillo, DT do have influence here in the city and god knows JP's following from NY to the JOISEY Shure brings great prescence. Trance in general is something feuled by a younger/introductory following to the music scene.
He'll most like play songs that have been on his recent ASOT and/or vocal inspired tracks where in general "UK Pop" in combination with domestic artist (Sarah M, Dido, etc) has mass appeal. It's the truth and it works! Everyone loves pop, just that it's a main stream genre in the US with a euro-pop touch (electronic beats) |

i hope to hear some banging beats from remy
then let armin take over and start out with some nice dirty melodic trance,tech-trance,techno,uplifting etc
he can leave the progressive stuff back in amsterdam
i havent really been up to date with the last few asot episodes but one track i want him to play is m.i.k.e- voices from the inside
that song is really something |

i agree, he plays an amazing mix of pop and good unknown tracks thats can keep most people happy in a club. however armin is a really good vibe dj. while pvd, i feel is an energy dj and tiesto in his prime was an amazing tracklist dj. its just a matter of taste |

i think he will play
Airbase- Escape
Thomas Bronzwaer - Shadow World
Who is watching Remy Remix? maybe
Nic Chagall - Monday Bar
Evanya - Las Perillas
I can see him playing "Substate - Horizon (Mac Zimms Remix)" since he likes to play hard alot. This track would rock for sure.
I really want to hear Marcel Woods - advanced (filterheadz remix) |
