This looks much nicer.

then u are one of the few who thought/think balance 005 was "weak". Thats your opinion ofcourse, no harm done :)

Just had a listen to a promo, and i have to say I'm impressed. Once again Holden has raised the bar on eclectic music. It seems he just doesn't know how to disappoint.

First cd essentially starts off beatless for the first 15min, but it quickly picks up with some great selectioin of tunes. On CD2, it seems to be a lil bit harder. But there's a couple tracks that i dont think quite fit, but nothing too bad or anything.

Overall, I give it 9/10 after a quick listen. And going by how Balance 005 grew on me, it may reach a 10 in the future.

I've had a few listens.

Wow.

Its pure Holden. Completely different than Balance 005...but that makes sense doesn't it?

The tracks just melt into each other. Beautiful selection.

Def something that will age well.

I've listened to the 2cd sampler that's been going about and the album is as I expected, amazing. I love the new minimal trippy sound Holden's acquired since he started Border Community. It's gotten progressively more minimal but in doing so, became more effective to his style.

An absolute gem of an album.

Yeah.. I sort of retract my statement before... both cds are awesome in there own ways :) but the intro track definitely does it for me as well... i wonder who is behind the vocals in that track? sort of sounds like the singer from coldplay (or maybe i have bad hearing :stongue: )

I dunno...but with every listen (I'm on #10 for CD1) this just gets more and more interesting.

ing Ace, I need to congratulate Holden when he comes out this way.
