evangelists at walmart?

so i got witnessed to at walmart the night before last. me and 3 of my friends were shopping in the frozen foods section and these 3 guys come up to us...i have to write out the convo it was great.
guy: have y'all thought about y'all's sows?
me: our what? our souls?
guy: yeah yo sow.
me: uhhh...
guy: well lemme ax you this. have you accepted jesus christ as your lord and savior?
me: um, no.
guy: would you like to?
me: um, no.
guy: why not?
me: sir, i think you're talking to the wrong person.
guy: why?
me: because i hate evangelism.
guy: well let me ask you this, if you died tomorrow would you go to heaven or hell?
me: enough. you're completely disregarding any respect for what my beliefs may be. thanks, but i'm not interested. have a nice night.
guy: and what are your beliefs?
me: that's none of your business. bye.
guy: there will be a second coming and there will be a reckoning, and i'll pray for your soul.
me: you don't need to pray for ANYTHING of mine, goodnight.
then, the guy pulled my room mate aside and told her to stay away from me because i was a god-hater and a she-devil.
then, ANOTHER guy came up to me...
new guy: excuse me, i'm the pastor from their church and-
me: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
new guy: girl, you're going to hell!
me: awesome. thanks.
new guy: you don't scare me, because you can yell...i-
me: i'm not trying to scare you, i'm trying to get you to leave me the alone! go away!
then i reported them to the manager for soliciting inside a place of business.
god i was so pissed. is it just me? people like that make me livid. anyway, that's my fun story. we all had a good laugh about it in the car. jaci was like "amelia i'll feel a lot safer going to 6th street now if i have you with me. i'll just be like "evangelistic christian, amelia, ATTACK!" if anyone s with me." it's not christians that bother me, it's the pretentious audacity of some of the people who try to convert people. i can't stand that . and their persistance is extra annoying. i swear to god i was ready to deck the 6'4" black guy in the face. generally, i don't try to start fights with people like 8 times my size...god i was so pissed. anyway i'm better now.

i love picking apart shallow evangelists. they are so easy, and never know when they are being outsmarted.
better yet, is to claim you had a prophetic vision last night about the end of the world, and of course lead them into a bull story for as long as you can then just sorta walk away. |
