'Dust' was the first track to use the vocals from what I know. The vocal is taken from a Spectrasonics sample set called Mother Earth I believe. |
Yep yep, taken from the Spectrasonics sample library, although I think it was from the Vocal Planet set.

Captain Alan Morrison, the fiancee of Annie Campbell and the object of grief in this song, had brown hairs (hence the "Dark Allen" ??? ). |

It sounds hauntingly beautiful though and in my opinion, is one of the rare occassions when a haunting melody is being complimented by a solid bass groove. |
You need to listen to more Oliver Lieb, then.;) |

Wow! Beautiful track. I finally had the chance to listen to this for the first time yesterday and I was amazed. Everything about this track screams class from the vocals to the suspense that I felt not knowing where I was going to be taken next. If you haven't listened to this track yet, you guys should.
I'm also enjoying the Leama & Moor mix for giving this track a different perspective with the added flute sounds gracing my ears. |

Not so much Tear in the Open, but Im surprised that the Nyana single didnt get a hell of a lot more exposure. Everyone whored over the Adagio remix, which isnt that great, and left Nyana to gather dust. | oh man, Nyana was really bad. |
