I believe that it's a gift. And either you got it, or don't. Try to team up with someone who's good at writing lyrics if you don't feel like you're getting the hang of it.

A couple of advices:

If writing in English, be sure that it's grammatically correct.

Try to make good metaphors.

Stay away from clichés, they will come around and bit you in the ass.

Be original. :-P Try not to mimic other artists’ work.

Write what’s on your heart.

That summer, we talked endlessly
Always, about everything,
Fusion, nothing new for you
I felt, hey, under and, cool breezes
The heavenly

Face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, I remember
Face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, I remember

We argue, constantly
Disagree, about everything
Distance, nothing new for me
I feel uneasy, under this thing
Thoughts away
The heavenly

Face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, I remember
Face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, i remember
I remember

And darkness falls in my eyes
And days are far from rosy now
And if I asked for the sky
Would you still shelter me
When the sky falls

I remember
I remember

Face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, I remember
Face me, hidden in my memory,
Hold me, I remember
I remember
Sitting in my memory
I remember

something like this will work great!

Someone needs to write trance with real lyrics. I'm talking poetic. None of this dream sky castle girly pansy bull. (I don't mean to offend anyone, obviously, I'm just tired of that type of lyrics!)

Fo' sheezy.

If you need a tutorial to write "trance lyrics," than my advice is DON'T.

Or, learn songwriting and do what every other songwriter in every other genre does: hire someone else to do it for you. (Tiesto should be able to hook you up with that.)

Steal them from a graphomaniac. They write everything down, and it's often psychotic enough that it sounds cool in trance music.

Please please please please please PLEASE don't write lyrics "for trance". If you're going to write lyrically, please write them independently and then adapt as needed.

There's nothing I hate more than generic vocals with crap lyrics that were obviously created as an afterthought by the producer, who was probably thinking "well this track sounds cool but it could use a vocal!"

i think mainstream trancers nowadays dont give a hoot about lyrics...as long as it sounds good and goes well with the melodies...

come on...im sure we've all heard 'peaches and cream'...i mean wtf

oh and even worse....tiestos 'love comes again'??? sounds good...but what a stupid lyrical line
