Me, the peeps, and probably the dude who once told me that the secret to good times was a bottle of night train and forty bucks for ammunition. That makes it approxiamtely +5.
Tentative list of things to do in Ottawa before Porter:
1. Fill a ziploc bag with maple syrup and poo and blast Harper's motorcade while screaming something about socialism.
2. Free tattoos and piercings (universally well received).
3. Morriseau's ing rad exhibit at the gallery.
4. Drunk and hallucinating at winterlude, although I have no idea what this means (apparently skaing the canal - word!)
5. Tequilla at Zaphod's because self-respect is so passe.
6. Battering my weakened constitution with pills, fried eggs.
7. Hangin' with yuppie poli-schmucks at bars around the capital and stealing their id cards.
8. Winter discgolf (if anyone wants in, I got plenty of extra discs. Hopefully, there will be an early melt so the 18 will be actually playable. And it's a good course. It's at Jacques Cartier parc. And it's free.)
9. Gogol Bordello (aforementioned)
10. ?
If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears and toes. Paix. |

hey, I see Surface on Porter's website as being the location for this, but the flyer says Suite 34. Me head is already hurtin' from the BeB ticket info thread :eyespop:
Surface would be so much better with more room and new renovations (may be ongoing so hense Suite 34 on flyer above), definitely worth it for you peeps to come down to Ottawad. Either way, the venues are about five minutes or so walking distance apart.

Relax mate... Surface is under going reno's and it is just not ready yet, tis why the 7en boys are having it at Sweet Dirty Whore. Same people own these bars. |

| Yeah, I was able to deduce that with some pretty complex software. Surface has stuff going on at the beginning of March, looking forward to checking out the new digs. Porter in da Howwwwwwwwse!!!! |

has anyone tried getting guest list through the website? i tried after porter last month and heard nada. i hope it's not a trick (such a total rube, i. buying ketchup popsickles in white gloves. christ.)
also, show of hands for who's makin' the trek. hopefully, with a big enough posse, we can make everyone start smoking indoors and shouting blasphemies in french. word. |
