KICKED CONSERVATIVE ASS yet again (hasn't been a CON here since before 1976)
I voted LIB so.....
next time Debra Coyne - Dennis Mills (LIB) ruled the riding for 4 terms until Jack Layon won in 2004
she ran a damn good campaign considering the chances of winning against the Layton incumbancy (3rd time elected MP/2nd win in Toronto/Danforth Riding).

Nice lady - met her just before the Holidays.
NDP is a good choice for Toronto I believe so congrats to Jack Layton.
P.S. Jay you should have said something to Belinda when you saw her - she knows who you are I forward your posts to her when they come about on TOTA (you know my political position of LIB) - she has been asking me about you and why you never returned her emails since you have many political concerns as by the shear volume of political threads started by you - I told her you had aspirations for internet prime-minister of an online community and that you did have ties with the "Guvernment" - she felt you were clearly lacking information in key areas and was more than willing to help you overcome any gaps in your sourcing for future posts regarding political policy in Canada and especially within the greater Toronto area. She HOPED that there would be no "hard" feelings and if there was then she knows very well how to handle a "hard" situation. You could have had a smile on your face after all........lost opportunities I guess you can chalk it up to....she has moved on to BIGGER and better things........
JOKES!
;)

Good monrning folks,
Here I am as expected. Here Belinda is as expected. The race was not even close. Last time it Belinda won by a slim margin of about 700 votes, this time by thousands.
Jay and Wyndham, thanks for being a good sport about it today.
I'm glad there has been some major changes in our guvernment (sp. on purpose, cuz) overall. We're giving the Conservatives at least a chance to prove themselves nationwide. Locally, we as a community, picked the best candidate. Had the Concervatives a better candidate in Aurora, it would be way different. I still feel if the Conservatives cared, they would have placed Frank Klees, and Aurora resident to fight Belinda, and feel he would have won.
Overall, the elections turnout out exactly as I have expected. Let the Conservatives prove themselves and make Canada a better country during their term, and let the Liberals do some housecleaning in the meantime. Ed Chudak can continue being the strong voice in Teacher's and education affairs in the region, and Elvis Priestly can continue preaching to the excentric. |

Why didnt you say anything dude? A face to face encounter is something most voters just do not get. I would think that would have been the perfect time to tell her that you do not support her in any way. |
