Anything else

Those topics are much broader than being appreciative of something or someone. You cannot group them in one thread. Now if there's a politics subforum for exmaple (on TOTA) that would be different. Welcome threads can be excused... they don't know the rules yet. |

Dude, you are so missing the point and its getting to be rediculous. Appreciation threads serve no other purpose othen than people kissing that persons ass for an extended period of time. If we made a thread for every TA on here that made a positive impact at one time or another, the TOTA forum would be nothing but useless threads with sappy messages, and basically resembles a group MSN conversation between that 'clique'.
Politics, games, sports, even welcoming new TA's, serve a purpose.
Thats the difference. |

so on and so on
simple fact is that its just a harmless thread along with other harmless appreciation threads. it is not hurting anyone and not causing any pain to anyone and if it is then simply do not open and read. theres only 2 threads of such sort on whole first page. with time these threds die and and everyone forgets about them. the guy is simply stating that he is appreciative of everyone in this forum and i myself see no harm in it and i do not think its a waste of thread space. we should be appreciating each other in this thread and not complaining about waste of thread space. it dont cost any of us anything. |
