I'm sure my story will be appreciated here :gsmile:
So, two weeks ago when I was leaving my house to go to John's for my birthday party, I grabbed a couple of records from my mailbox that I had recently won on ebay. I noticed some other mail in there too but I figured I'd just wait until I got back home to open it.
The party was great but when I got home, I opened my box and it was EMPTY! I was freaking out, I thought someone had stolen all my mail! Two weeks go by and I still haven't seen a single piece of mail! I was really pissed and worried but I couldn't really do much because I work all morning and all afternoon.
Today I finally made it to the post office before work to report it. Come to find out, the postman had taken all of my mail out of my box and returned it to sender and then ceased to deliver to my house because he thought the mail had been "abandoned"!! Never bothered to leave a note to inform me of this or anything!!! On top of that, the mail supervisor (or whatever the hell he called himself) was being a complete ass about it! I was outraged!
What a ty way to start your morning. I had to call all of my credit card and utility companies to have them tell me how much I owe and when I owe it and everything- totally ruined my day. I finally pull into my driveway after a frustrating day at work and I'm on the phone with Cici venting to her about the ordeal and I say semi-sarcastically, "hey, I wonder if I have any mail". I go to the box, open it up and, sure enough, the mail had run! The Lee Coombs record I bought on Ebay that I was so worried about had also come! YIPPEEEE!
I'm all happy, I've got my mail in my hand, still talking to Cici and I'm not half way up my driveway when I hear something behing me. I turn around only to see a speeding car plow over my mailbox.

| he had nowhere to go, he was STUCK on my mailbox! I gave him one of my business cards and he gave me his #. he said his father-in-law would be by tomorrow morning to replace my mailbox. |

| He had to have been speeding to slide as far as he did before he hit it. The dude said he was reaching for his drink and ran off the road. Apparently, he used to work with my old roommate. |

Yea, i should be there. we are trying to see if we can broadcast the set from the bowling alley/arcade downstairs instead of the radio studio, make it more interesting. |

| you should only need your mixer, needles, headphones and records. but i guess if we do it in the bowling alley we'd need monitors and turntables too because we can't take the studio ones. but i guess we'll sort that out if we get the ok. |

ing bowling alley of death. we got denied entrance once a bunch of asian kids were playing. it felt like reverse racism :( |
