omg srsly.

As usual with this forum, any opportunity that arises for a debate with the potential to be remotely interesting, as well as educational, is passed up in exchange for "witty" comments which don't actually make any sense.

But I guess this just makes me emo.
A walking, talking genre of music. With a penis.

Emo is NOT HARDCORE PUNK, it came from it, but it is not anything like it anymore, maybe that "screamo" is more close.

It's "not anything like it anymore" merely because of webculture, and people like you. The definition of the word remains the same.

And its called musical diversity you ing retard. I know people that listen to emo most overall but also enjoy radiohead, it dosn't mean they are radiohead fans that are posers, it means they are emo fans that also like radiohead.

Yes, I didn't dispute that.

I just said I found it strange for a majority of people into emo music so much as to involve themselves in that sort of culture to listen to Radiohead, but I never said it wasn't possible.

Chill out.

Edit: I understand what you're saying about the genre changing somewhat, but even if it is closer to "screamo" then that still makes it a complete contrast to Radiohead, which is exactly what my point here is.

I don't know, the UK seems to be filled with a bunch of knock of American cultural phenoms so it might be different.

I mean chavs take wigger to a whole other level...

Yes, youth in the UK seems to be all about showing off ones "subculture" in the most extreme way possible.

I feel we're drifting off topic here though (and I can admit to being at least partially responsible.)

Street Spirit (Original Mix) < Street Spirit (Tiesto Remix)

Some people think the tiesto remix is crap, but I like it. The other one's too depressing, bleh.

If you're a Radiohead fan, do yourself a favour and find this live set. Radiohead at their best imo.
