THX Matty!! It was TOP NOTCH and great to see you out at Guv... sorry you hated your experience (besides hanging w/ some of the peps).
Maybe there'll hafta be a learning curve for dealing w/ Guv for you? Hopefully thats not your very last time there :(

I've avoided Guv for 4 years, and now I remember why. The heat and overpacking last night was an atrocity (and I know Mandy agrees with me here)
When Mikey and I left at 3:30, they were still just waving people in, like cows to the slaughter.

Yea, its a Johan set thing. I GOT SO PUMPED UP EVERYTIME I HEARD IT!
Never have four word endowed me with SO MUCH energy! Good christ does hearing "IN SESSION... JOHAN GIELEN" ever get my energy and addrenaline going. I LOVE belting out the words when they'd come on! So much fun1111!

HOLY ! met the man... totally down to earth! you could tell how bad he was feelin the vibe that night.. he knew we wanted it dirty and hard and he sure brought it! Played shannys tune, Kiss, which was sick.. and more importantly ( to me) played BORN SLIPPY.. i just about died! JAMIE! i know you were freaking out as hard as i was when you heard it!!!!

OH NIKKI! It was so good seeing you again! I miss you babe!! Yea, I had just re met up w/ Joshy FROTN AND CENTER when born slippy was coming on! ING SOLID! I KNEW he'd play this track... johan just loves the out of it! So do it! He didnt let me down there.

Later found out that wasn't true from Johan himself (phew!). Spent 20 mins catchin up w/Johan in the booth after the set.
Very nice TA turnout indeed! Nice hangin out w/all the TA's, esp the ones who havent been out in a while. |
Unfortunately I have to agree w/ Nats. Was telling her the same thing.. his intro was not up to its usual par... Johan normally just ing BANGS out a crazy track when he starts and IMMEDIATELY you are energized adn thinking HOLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But he did pick it up later. Ending w/ Mr. Brightside... OH YEA! LOVED IT. I ing LOVED Johan's set.... though there have been ones I like alot better from that man.
Nevertheless, MY GOD did I ever have a good time. THanks guys who came out and shared in this experience w/ me. I truly had the time of my life at GUvernmente. THIS is whuat partying there is supposed to be like.
The overcrowdness didnt bother me that much (never really does though)... so long as Im surround by all you pretty tota chicks! :D and the heat... well, damn, I JUST LOVEd THAT! It can usually never be too hot for me! :D:D:D: :whip:
OKAY, just woke up from my sleep... and thinking im gonna pass out again before work tomrrow... ugh...........:happy2: CHEERS GUYS...

Glad you guys came out. SOrry I didnt make the pre-meet, wanted to, but I just had ot ensure Carns and Dee-girl made it out ;)
