| Heh, I thought trance was great, then took a turn for the worse when it was plagued with the "hoover trance" trend around 1999-2004. Thank god the trend is mostly gone! |

I don't listen to much Trance anymore, but if you're asking what got me into Trance in the first place:

| I'd say I listen to trance 85% of the time. I like trance because the of the melodies, and it's energetic, I'm all about the epic/melodic trance though. I do listen to alternative, hip hop, a little 80's but I just like the melodies in trance a lot better. Also I'm a huge Nu Nrg fan and after hearing a lot of their tracks, it changed my whole view of trance a little and I appreciated it even more. |

anyways.. i agree with Ian.. i don't like it.. i LOVE TRANCE!
There's nothing that makes me feel the way trance does. I'm not trying to hate on other genre's but nothing can compare.
Music is my life and it makes me happy.. and it has been since i was 14.
My best memories come from trance events and sharing it with ppl who feel the same way [TA's] just adds more to it. :D:D:D:D:D

I like trance because trance likes me. We spoon together at night and gaze at each other in the candlelight.
I don't really know why I like it, I just do. I'd hate to overanalyze it and try and pinpoint the exact reason why, I think that would take away some of the romance. And it's not to say that I'm not fond of other genres as well; it just seems that trance is the one that's capable of overhwelming me. Weird. |
