Do we have any runners here? Marathon, 10k, 20k, or just fun runners?

Eh?
SuspicionVandit
I run 2 miles in the early morning and 1 mile in the evening. I've never been in any marathons, but I'm looking forward to the MCRD (or pendleton) to open the gates to the public for their course.

Yes, definately. The more you do it, the more you love it, and if you stop, you start hating it again. It's like a drug. I used to totally hate any form of exercise, then I had to walk home from school a couple of times because of a bus strike.. that took me about two hours, in the middle of a sunny hot and humid summer day. Sucked at first, but then I grew a liking for it, and I started having two-hour walks on my own. Then I tried jogging, and later biking. The hardest part is giving yourself that initial kick-in-the-butt.

i really like the idea of bike riding...but there's no place to really go around here...it's too dangerous with traffic. i could go down by the beach, but that's a pain just to get in the car and drive to where i want to ride my bike. lol

i like to rollerblade but that's kinda gay. i go to this track with my mom sometimes and it's a mile if u go around it once, so i'll usually do like 3 or 4 laps when i go, and if i'm going against the wind, it's pretty tough!

also, i have a bad low back, so isn't jogging bad for that? i mean i have some nike shox but still...i should probably join my gym again and do those elliptical machines huh...
