Here is ma last production,

Enjoy it ;)

TonKs - The Bells of Sun

Good ambient percs in the intro.

Liking the pads.

Bass seems kind of muffled. Watch it's frequencies.

Bell riffs in break are beautiful. Very trippy and fluent. The way you layer them is excellent, too.

Why are those high frequencies on the bass from the break not present in the rest of the track. Try to get a bit more high on that bass if it's going to be that cool.

Good stuff. I really like this track.

Nice track!

I like it all, but I think the thing that sounds like a vocoded echoed sample should be used less often in the beginning. It sounds really cool, but in the beginning it is repeated too much. It should be more like a treat to hear every once in a while. :)

listening....

kik is too thin imo, but punchy enough.
voice is nice, robotic.
pads/fxs are a kinda dry imo.
sines and melody is nice.
bass is good.
laid back stuff.

the overall mixdown/sound quality isn't that good in my headphones.

keep it up. :)

Great vibe, the kick needs a little boost. It kind of melds in with the bass. I love these melodies man. As I have said in the past, "I like any song with a robot voice" :) Great job!

SUN BELLS RINGING

Wow, right from the get go the track throws you into a swirl of emotions and feelings with it's dark atmosphere. This reminds me of the himalayan mountains. Percs are well placed and the first pad at the begining hugs the listener with soothing tone, by the time the first melody kicks in, you can't help but wonder; will this track really take me the places it says so? Well let's find out. For starters the melody thats playing is absolutely beautiful, the squares and sines and plucks seem almost unrivaled as the perfect element for any good progressive melody. The break itself is absolutely beautiful and really has a professional feel to it. One thing that I wasn't for to much was the sudden beginning of the kick and percs. Would have been more aesthetic to have the percs ease their way in and then introduce the kick with a nice sweep in my honest opinion. It's clear that tonks is no newcomer to this genre, and with that reminding us that he might have some experience with the ambient side of electronic music. In the end, did this tune really take us where it should have? Yes, it has and it brought us back too, by easing out all the elements 1 by 1. My only complaint is the lack of progression after the break.

THE GOOD
Simply amazing atmosphere, Trance meets Ambient
Has a touch of ethnic tubes if you will.
Melody is transfixing
Great Arrangement
Tune has some drive

THE MEDIOCRE
Since the tune really doesn't have that much that throws me off about it, I'll just say that it would have been nice to do an outro for the break before heading back to the kick and percs and highats if you will.

IN THE END
Perhaps one of the finer tracks I've had the pleasure of hearing on
TranceAddict.
